CLAIRE ZATORSKI
Claire Zatorski is a former music educator from the Farmingdale Union Free School District, where she taught Mixed Chorus, Women’s Choir, Barbershop Quartet, and Sweet Adelines at Farmingdale High School. During her 33-year teaching career in Farmingdale, Mrs. Zatorski also taught sixth grade chorus and general music at Howitt Middle School, and elementary chorus and general music at Stanley D. Saltzman Elementary School. She was the accompanist for the annual musical at Farmingdale High School, as well as having been accompanist/vocal director for musicals in the Jericho, Elwood, and Carle Place School Districts.
Mrs. Zatorski holds a Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Hofstra University, and a Master of Science in Music Education from Queens College. She has served as president of the Long Island Orff-Schulwerk Association, and as a member of the Executive Board of the Nassau Music Educators’ Association. She has been a guest conductor for both All District and All County choirs on Long Island. Mrs. Zatorski has been a member of the Babylon Chorale since 2017.
