Through song, The Babylon Chorale has provided Long Island with joy, sorrow, praise, and hope. Although we are temporarily silenced now by Covids’ isolation, a new sorrow cannot be ignored.
We are distressed over the recent death of George Floyd, and we stand with those who see this and similar acts of hatred despicable. Ours is a community where the common thread of music, and the love it brings to us and our audience is what binds. The Babylon Chorale embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion; we are one. Encouraging people without regard to age, gender, race or religion to join us, we stand with the Black community and all those who strive for justice and equality.
